Ruby Santiago is inspired by botanical, fantasy, witchy or dreamlike imagery; pin ups and portraits also intrigue her. Pet portraits are a love of hers because immortalizing your fur babies - your family- is fun and fulfilling, and always donates 20% of the proceeds from pet portraits to a local animal charity.
She has a deep respect for tattoos with structure and contrast and prefers to never do a tattoo without an outline. In fact, dynamic line weight is something she absolutely wants to incorporate into your body art. She began her career in a fast paced street shop in 2002 apprenticing under Tattoo Dan and has sought out various mentors along the way to advance her technique and style. In 2010 she opened Two Birds Tattoo -a friendly neighborhood boutique style tattoo studio- with business partner Suzy Todd, and they have been growing ever since! She loves her crew, loves her hood, and is ready to make artwork for your body that will be striking and beautiful.

How to book: Because of the high volume of tattoo requests and long wait times for appointments, Ruby is taking on less projects and will be more selective.
Step 1. As always you should fill out our consultation form in its entirety. (link at top of page)
Step 2. Wait patiently for our front desk scheduler to go over your form, this process should take up to one week or less. She will email you back and let you know if your project is likely to be picked by the artist. If your project isn't right for the artist she will likely make a suggestion for another artist.
Step 3. At the next consult booking period, the artist will go over your form and decide if she is interested in meeting in person for a consult. We will contact you if your project has made it to the next step and you will be asked to call us to book the consult appointment. If the answer is no, we will do our best to recommend another artist to take on your project.
