Cameron Lacombe @ ArtUp

Friday, June 13, 2014 (6-9pm)

Come join us for June's art walk and the art of Cameron Lacombe. Explore the world of cinematic characters from an era of excess in film: the 70's and 80's. Cameron describes his work:
"I’m primarily interested in exploring portraits of characters with sweaty brows, stubble, gnarly teeth, or a crazy look in the eyes. Heroes, villains, and beasts from the 70’s and 80’s are usually my focus. The bulk of my work consists of characters I enjoy or moments that give me a strong sense of nostalgia. I often employ a more exaggerated appearance through proportion, line quality, and color.
