November's featured artist is Emily Bryan. Come on down to the 2nd Friday Greenwood/Phinney art walk to see her beautiful portrait paintings and enjoy refreshments, wine, and conversations with the artist. About her work, Emily states: "My paintings are a collaboration between my photography and my daily personal influences. The results are environmental portraits compiled in layers upon layers of paint. Starting with a dark canvas and building up to light, eventually covering the true raw canvas beneath is almost like exploring the things you don't know or see in people, and I am uncovering those truths with the building these layers."
