RAWKSON @ ArtUp Friday, January 13, 2012 (6pm-9pm) We're kicking off 2012 with an art walk event for January's featured artist at the Two Birds Gallery: RAWKSON. The Seattle based artist uses his dark sense of humor and irony coupled with influences from music, comics, horror movies, and other subcultures to rebel against the classics with images of spoiled innocence. Come on down during the 2nd Friday artwalk to see his art, share some refreshments, and ring in the new year with ART!
Kamilla White @ Artup Friday, December 9, 2011 (6-9pm) December's featured artist is Kamilla White, of Raven Lunatic Studios. Her delightful paintings and sculptures feature playful crows engaged in a variety of human-like behaviors. Kamilla says about her art; "I have observed the local crows for a number of years, and am intrigued by their keen intelligence and their intricate co-evolutionary relationships with human beings. I try to capture the playful spirit of the crow in my art, to share the whimsy and joy they bring to everyday life."	Emily Bryan @ ArtUp Friday, November 11, 2011 (6-9pm) November's featured artist is Emily Bryan. Come on down to the 2nd Friday Greenwood/Phinney art walk to see her beautiful portrait paintings and enjoy refreshments, wine, and conversations with the artist. About her work, Emily states: "My paintings are a collaboration between my photography and my daily personal influences. The results are environmental portraits compiled in layers upon layers of paint.
Amber Dye @ Art Up Friday, October 14, 2011 (6pm - 9pm) October's featured artist is Amber Dye, and we'll be having an artist's reception for the monthly Greenwood/Phinney art walk. Amber Dye is a printmaker, painter, mixed-media artist and seamstress. Come on down for refreshments, see Amber's beautiful prints, and maybe see some live art making!
